TVS Supply Chain Solutions: June 2024 Net Profit Increases Despite Sales Decline

With standalone net sales of Rs 469.03 crore for June 2024, TVS Supply Chain Solutions reported a 6.43% decrease from Rs 501.25 crore in June 2023. The company’s quarterly net profit increased dramatically to Rs 8.69 crore, a startling 1479.37% gain from just Rs 0.63 crore the previous year, despite the decline in sales.

It’s not all positive news, either. EBITDA for the company fell sharply, from Rs 101.75 crore in June 2023 to Rs 66.50 crore, a 34.64% decrease. Positively, TVS Supply’s earnings per share (EPS) increased from Rs 0.02 to Rs 0.20 in the previous year. TVS Supply shares closed at Rs 196.92 on the NSE on July 30, 2024, yielding a return of 1.40% for the previous half-year.
