After the Hema Committee report came out, many actresses made serious allegations against actors
There have been allegations of sexual exploitation of female artists in the Malayalam film industry for the past several years. To investigate this, a 3-member committee was formed in 2019 under the chairmanship of retired Justice Hema. After 4 years, on August 19, the Hema Committee submitted a 233-page report to the Kerala government, in which it came to light that many big artists had committed exploitation.
Since the Justice Hema Committee report came out, actresses in the Malayalam film industry have been continuously making allegations against many big actors and filmmakers.
