According to the information received, the name of the deceased is Vikram Sinha, who was the Sarpanch of Khertha Gram Panchayat. Vikram Sinha was a young Sarpanch. He had contested and won the Panchayat elections for the first time. His term was about to end.

The police is waiting for the forensic team. Blood was found scattered all over the crime scene. A dead body was also found lying there.
Demand for strict action against the accused
BJP leader Harish Katjhare said that he came to know about the incident at 3 am, after which he reached there. There is blood everywhere in the house. There is mourning due to the heinous murder of the first citizen of the village. The villagers are demanding strict action against the accused.
It is not clear whether Ramji Prajapati has committed the murder.
In this case, Sanjari Chowki in-charge Arvind Sahu said that a murder has taken place. The police have taken the body into their custody. After forensic investigation, the body will be sent for postmortem. Panchnama proceedings have not been done yet. The murderer will be caught soon, but the police have not made it clear whether Ramji Prajapati has committed the murder.
