Unveiling of the Oppo F27 Series in India

Tipster Mukul Sharma has divulged a poster on X (formerly known as Twitter) revealing the launch of the Oppo F27 series in India. The alleged poster indicates that the Oppo F27 Pro+ will be introduced in India on June 13. The series is also expected to include the Oppo F27 Pro and a standard Oppo F27 model.

The tipster’s post suggests that at least one of the devices in the series will possess IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. More definitive details on the varying IP ratings are expected to emerge upon the official launch later this month.

Potential Rebranding: Oppo F27 Pro or Oppo F27 Pro+ as Oppo A3 Pro

The design depicted in the leaked poster implies that the Oppo F27 Pro+ may resemble another smartphone launched in China recently — the Oppo A3 Pro. This similarity includes a circular rear camera module positioned in the upper middle section of the rear panel and the two color variants showcased in the poster.

In addition to the design, the Oppo A3 Pro is the first device in China from the company to feature an IP69 rating. This raises the possibility that the device could be introduced in India as a rebranded version of the A series phone. However, it remains uncertain whether the Oppo F27 Pro or F27 Pro+ will serve as the global variant of the Oppo A3 Pro.

Should these conjectures hold true, the Oppo F27 Pro or F27 Pro+ may come equipped with a Dimensity 7050 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The device is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It will likely house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.
