Communist Party leader Sitaram Yechury’s health deteriorates, condition critical; admitted to Delhi AIIMS

Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is admitted in Delhi AIIMS. CPI(M) said on Tuesday (September 10) that Yechury is admitted in ICU. His condition is critical. He has been admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. He is currently on respiratory support. A team of doctors is monitoring his condition.

Earlier on August 19, Yechury was admitted to AIIMS. He had pneumonia then. CPI(M) said that Yechury had gone to AIIMS for a checkup. He was admitted due to pneumonia.

The central government has approved the proposal to appoint 6 senior advocates as Additional Solicitor General (ASG) in the Supreme Court. Several leaders of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were arrested by Pakistani police on Monday from outside the Parliament House after the National Assembly session. Dawn newspaper quoted police spokesman Jawad Taqi as saying that PTI leaders Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat and Advocate Shoaib Shaheen have been arrested by Islamabad police.

Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s son Sanket’s high speed Audi car hit some bikes and cars. The incident took place in Nagpur. Police have detained Audi driver Arjun Haware and his friend Rohit in this case. It is also being investigated whether Sanket was in the car at the time of the accident or not?

First, a bike rider fell down after being hit by an Audi. Then it hit a parked car from behind. After this, the driver ran away at a high speed hitting three bikes. After the accident, there was a lot of shouting and screaming and a crowd gathered. A CCTV footage of the accident is going viral.

After the accident, the number plate of the Audi was removed. This has also raised doubts on the role of the police. Meanwhile, Bawankule said, the car is in my son’s name. The police should take action against the culprits.

Hollywood film maker Harvey Weinstein undergoes emergency heart surgery

Jailed Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein underwent emergency heart surgery at a New York hospital on Monday. Weinstein, 72, was taken from Rikers Island jail to Manhattan’s Bellevue Hospital late Sunday night. His prison consultant Craig Rothfeld confirmed Weinstein’s heart surgery. He declined to comment further on his condition.
