Daniel Chavda, who gave the presentation to PM Modi, told Dainik Bhaskar that he spent his childhood in the Indian town of Bilaspur. He studied at St. Francis School. He obtained a BE degree from Bhilai Institute of Technology.
Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering
During this time, he got selected in IIT Madras. Here he studied Master of Science Aerospace Engineering. After studying, after working in the private sector for about two years, he founded a deep-tech space start-up Galaxy I Space Solution about 3 years ago with his friends from IIT Madras.
Daniel’s father is GM in an agro company
Daniel’s father Bhupesh Chavda works as GM in Jai Durga Agro Company located in the industrial area of Sirgitti. His mother Sharmila Chavda is a housewife. Daniel said that he has been interested in working in the field of space since the beginning.
This is the reason why in the year 2020, the foundation of a start-up company working in the field of space was laid.
5 friends started the company together
Daniel told that there are 5 founding members in his company. The CEO is Suyash Singh from Nagpur. Daniel is the Chief Technology Officer. Apart from him, Praneet Mehta, Rakshit and Kishan Thakkar are also included.
Selected for SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s project
Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, a company working in the field of space, had brought the Hypaloop project. Companies working in the field of space had participated in it.
Galaxy Eye was selected from all over Asia for this project. After this, it gave its demonstration in America.
Daniel completed his schooling in Bilaspur itself, his father works as GM in an agro company.
Presentation given to PM Modi in Mann ki Baat
Daniel said that he gave a presentation of his company to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Mann Ki Baat program on Sunday. During this, the team members discussed the objectives of the company and the possibilities of startups in space.
He told that five of us students of IIT Madras prepared a presentation on space startup, in the presentation he explained in detail the current challenges in the space industry and space startup.

Daniel said that his technology is important for making India safe. This will help security forces in border surveillance and provide them confidential information. It will also be effective in providing extremely secure and confidential information.
‘Galaxy Eye’ can see through clouds in space
